It is our aim to serve our guests with passion and the highest quality: with excellent cuisine and courteous and friendly service. We want to give our guests a pleasant time of culinary delights and relaxation in the Rosarium. And if something should not be to your satisfaction, then tell us. Our new team will try to improve it.

Georg Schröppel - Rosarium

GEORG SCHRÖPPEL
Chef de Cuisine

Our head chef Georg Schröppel learned from Heinz Winkler in the Heinz Winkler Residence. After working in Europe at the Wandhotel Sonnora (Helmut Thltges) and the Hotel Paradies (Eduard Hitzberger), he went to the USA. There he works for Thomas Henkelmann in the Homestead Inn / Greenwich, NY, for Günther Seeger in Seeger's Restaurant / Atlanta, GA and for Thomas Keller in The French Laundry / Yountville, CA. After that he was in Asia for several years to get to know the Asian kitchen . There were positions as Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef at the Ritz Carlton / Guangzhou, the Shangri-la Hotel / Kuala Lumpur and the Mandarine Oriental Hotel / Guangzhou. Then the longing for home was greater than abroad, so that he could share his experiences at home with his guests.
